Sharon Susanne Miller

PITTSVILLE - Sharon Susanne Miller passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake surrounded by her children. Born in Waupun, Wis., she was the daughter of the late James Lawson and June Elliott Lawson.
Her working career included being a switchboard operator for C & P Telephone, Dorchester General Hospital, and SKS. Her most enjoyable pleasure was being a mother and grandmother, and her favorite cat, "Smokey".
Sharon is survived by her four children, Leslie S. Baker and husband, Junior of Pittsville, Christine Hubbard and husband, Barry of Hurlock, Renee Windsor and husband, Steve of Vienna, and Jason Miller and his wife, Jessica of Parsonsburg; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Janice L. Ross of Salisbury and Bobbi Miller and her husband, Craig of Rhome, Texas.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. David Talley officiated.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Coastal Hospice and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
