CAMBRIDGE - Savion DeOnte Lamont Collins passed away suddenly Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Dorchester General Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 10, 2007, in Easton, son of Chantay Farrow and Linwood Collins.
He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Chanelle and Chanere Collins, Jazmine Greene; a brother, Jeremiah Greene; grandparents, Fred Cephas, Michelle and William Maddox, Tonya and William Woolford and Linwood Collins Sr.; aunts, De"Shawna Cephas, Icessica Collins, Shavonta Collins; an uncle, Travon Farrow; great-grandparents, William Lake, Fred Mouring, Shirley Addison, Joyce and Maurice Farrow; great-great-grandparents, Mary Cephas, Nice Cornish, Mary Evelyn and James Farrow and Anna Rideout; godparents, LaMaya Beasley and James Travers; a special cousin, Jasmine Peterson and a number of other relatives.
Preceding him in death were three great-great-grandfathers, Hilton Cephas, Leroy Rideout and Russell Woolford; great-grandmother, Rhoda Cornish; uncles Dontai Farrow and Linwood Phillip Collins Jr.; and an aunt, Chanelle Cephas.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hurlock United Methodist Church. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Reid"s Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
