KERRVILLE, Texas - Sandra Lee Davison, 60, formerly of Cambridge, passed away in Kerrville on Monday, April 30, 2007.
She was born in Cambridge on Dec. 30, 1946, and was a daughter of the late Leon H. and Lillian J. Vick Bankard Sr.
She attended schools in Cambridge and later graduated from Salisbury State College with a degree in psychology, and had worked for the state of Maryland for a number of years at the employment office.
She was married to Robert Davison in 1986. They had made their home in Kerrville, Texas, since 1995.
Mrs. Davison was active in the Republican Party and had been chairman of the fund raising committee in Kerrville and had received a resolution from the state of Texas honoring her contribution.
She enjoyed traveling as long as her health allowed. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Davison of Kerrville; two sons, Davis Elliott of Washington, D.C. and Duane Elliott and his wife, Pam Elliott of East New Market; two grandchildren, Bradley Elliott and Matthew Elliott; two sisters, Patsy Meredith of Cambridge and Frances Nute and her husband, Austin B. Nute of Cambridge; one brother, Leon H. Bankard Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Bankard of Baltimore and several nieces.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Bankard.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Old Trinity Churchyard with the Rev. Austin B. Nute officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
