CAMBRIDGE - Ruth Fogle Webster, 84, of Cambridge, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Signature Healthcare at Mallard Bay. Born in Bloomsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Wilbur T. and Hester P. Fogle. She served as a homemaker most of her life, raising her children and taking care of her loving husband of 65 years. She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Wilbur Fogle, Margaret Kashner, Katherine Snyder, Mary Kashner, John Fogle, and Rosemarie Depoe; one son, Thomas Webster; one daughter, Colleen Webster; and one grandaughter, Jill Webster. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Franklin Webster Sr.; one sister, Jean Kapp, of Danville, Pa.; one daughter, Pamela Dilmore of Tunkhannock, Pa; a daughter in law and son in law, Irene and John Hansen of Cambridge; daughter in law Carol Mas of Berwick, Pa., five grandchildren including Steven Webster, Carrie Snyder, Jennifer White, Rebecca Daniels, and Marcia Wilcox; six great grandchildren including Cheyenne White, Madeline Daniels, Adam Snyder, James Webster, Catherine Hansen and Sheridan Wilcox; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Sharptown and the Conifer Village Coffee Clatch where she has many friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a contribution be made in her name to the American Heart Association or Paralyzed Veterans of America. She gave the ultimate selfless gift of donation of her human body to science for medical research. A memorial service is planned for Sept. 26, 2013, at 2 pm at the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Sharptown, Md.
