CAMBRIDGE — The Rotary Club of Cambridge held their weekly meeting at Emily’s Produce recently. Following their lunch, Kelly Jackson whose family owns the business spoke to the Rotarians about the growth from a produce stand into a farm market and, as Kelly says, “an authentic Eastern Shore Experience.”
Opened in 1998 after the birth of their daughter, Emily, Kelly and Paul Jackson wanted their daughter to grow up knowing and loving the family trade, farming. They now offer the freshest home grown fruits and vegetables, local meats, fresh cut flowers, hanging baskets and much, much more.
When asked what their next project would be, she responded they don’t know. Emily, now a college student, has ideas. She said they would just have to wait and see where it takes them.
