DELMAR - Rose Mary Hill died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born in Pocomoke City, she was a daughter of the late Duke and Grace Weidema. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Laurel for over 20 years. She and her husband spent many years raising chickens and received "Grower of the Year" on four separate occasions. She is survived by her husband, Roschen "Hilly" Hill; a daughter, Chris Carmine; a son, William Taylor; three grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Cathi Morrison and Chris Suriner; several stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa T. Mitchell and Anna "Muffy" Adkins; sisters, Joan Dashiell and Libby Vaughn; and brothers, Dickie Laird and Morgan Laird. A funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Interment was in Bridgeville Cemetery.
