Ronnie Wayne Bentley CRISFILED - Ronnie Wayne Bentley, 70, of Crisfield, died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his home. Born in Tazewell, Virginia on May 14, 1940, he was a son of the late Robert E. Bentley, Sr. and Della Bishop Bentley. A truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran, he was formerly of Pasadena, Maryland where he lived for 33 years before his retirement. He had been making his home in Crisfield since March of 2009. He enjoyed living in a small town. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara L. Hipsley Bentley of Crisfield; his son, Michael A. Bentley and his wife Samantha of Crisfield; four grandchildren, Andrew Bentley and his wife Mindy, Stephen Bentley, Jenna Bentley and Steven Arnold; his siblings, Delphia Bolen and her husband Theodore "Bunk" of Georgia and Robert E. Bentley, Jr. of Baltimore; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James O. Bentley. Following cremation, memorial services were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733. Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
