Leef Sr., 67
We are sad to announce that longtime Crisfield resident, Robert (Bob) Paul Leef Sr. died on January 2, 2024 at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore. Bob was surrounded by loved ones.
Bob Leef was born on March 5th, 1956 to Thomas and Anna Leef. Raised in the Wilmington, DE area, he was an artisan who was truly inspired by nature. Bob spent most of his adult life exploring the Eastern Shore focused on the restoration of boats, homes, and antique furniture. He was a knowledgeable guide who helped many people gain a love for the outdoors.
Bob enjoyed camping with his sons, discovering local artifacts, and playing the drums. He shared the remainder of his life with his high school sweetheart. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and creative craftsmanship by his family and friends.
Bob Leef is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, Robert Jr. and Vincent; brother, Thomas; sisters, Mary and Patty; and extended family members.
No public ceremony will be held.
The family invites donations to the American Cancer Society in the honor of Bob Leef for the advancement of CMML research.
