CAMBRIDGE - Robert Lee "Blake" Williams, 57, of Cambridge departed this life Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at Dorchester General Hospital.
He was born Feb. 27, 1950 in Seaford, the son of the late Edward Henry Williams and Edna Virginia Jackson.
He was an employee of the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for numerous years until his health failed.
He loved to watch television and sleep. His time was spent with his family and classmate, Beverly Jenkins.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Cornelia and Keith Neal of Edgewood; four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Melissa Turner, Texas; Boris and Elsie Turner, North Carolina; Wayne Williams of Delaware and Tremelle Williams of Cambridge; a sister, Mary Eddy of Baltimore; brother Herman Williams and Raymond Williams, both of Delaware; 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by daughter Valarie Dawson, sister Carrie Mae, brothers Ben Jackson and Edward Williams Jr. and step mother Isabelle Williams.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Henry Funeral Home with Missionary Cornelia Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Waugh Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
