O'Brien CAMBRIDGE - Robert "Bob" Barry O'Brien of Cambridge MD, formerly of Leonardtown MD died after a long illness on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. Born in 1951 to the late Joseph M. and Elizabeth B. O'Brien. He is survived by two brothers and three sisters and preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jo O'Brien Robertson. A graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland, Robert had worked for the St. Mary's County Health Department, Charles County Health Department, and the State of Maryland, in their Centreville office. A Memorial Mass, to be held at Our Lady's Catholic Church, will be announced at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at PO Box 1304, Cambridge MD 21613. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made in his memory to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W. Suite 800, Washington, DC 2004 or online.
