Retired teachers donate clothing to Warwick Elementary

Posted

SECRETARY — Warwick Elementary was a recent recipient of a donation of uniform and undergarments from the Dorchester Retired Educators Association (DREA) as part of the DREA’s DUDS program.

DUDS provides extra clothing to schools to help out when a child needs a change of clothing during the school day in order to stay in school. This long-standing project of the DREA serves all Dorchester County elementary schools.

DREA members Anna Sorrells and Carolyn Corkran made the presentation to Warwick Elementary on behalf of the organization. Present to accept the donation were student Darci Callahan, School Nurse Dania Moxey and Principal Marybeth Blake.

Warwick Elementary School would like to thank the DREA for their continued kindness and generosity.
