Advertisement - When you think of the great demands upon labor at this season of the year, how there are two jobs for every person willing to work, we think you will agree with us that it is patriotic to release all the labor you can.
We are prepared to serve you meals at all hours and can easily feed hundreds of persons every day. We serve all kinds of soups, meats, fish, crabs, eggs, vegetables, deserts, and also sandwiches and light lunches.
Our sodas are the very best that can be made and our ices have been praised by those who have eaten them. Why not try them once and be convinced?

A full-scale exercise of the radiological emergency plan for Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant will conducted in Dorchester County sometime this week, according to June C. McKelvey, director of the Dorchester County Emergency Management and Civil Defense Agency.
A federal requirement for the exercise is that the exact date must not be announced to county participants, she said. County emergency response personnel will be required to demonstrate evacuation and sheltering of evacuees from the Taylors Island area of the county; set up access control points to that area; monitor evacuees, emergency workers and vehicles for radiological contamination and perform decontamination of people and equipment as necessary.
There may be some unusual activities observed in the Rt. 16 area between Egypt Road and Taylors Island on the day of the exercise. Federal Emergency Management Agency observers will evaluate the performance of all emergency response agencies to determine the county’s capabilities to respond to an incident at the power plant.
