CAMBRIDGE — Teams from Cambridge-South Dorchester and North Dorchester high schools are in the thick of their spring campaigns, fighting for places in the Bayside Athletic Conference’s postseason. The following list provides a quick summary of their standings so far. • Boys’ Lacrosse – C-SD leads the Conference’s South Division with a record of 4-2. Last week, the Vikings’ four-game winning streak ended with a 12-6 loss at Easton. The Warriors currently sit atop the North Division, with a 5-1 record. • Girls’ Lacrosse – The Lady Vikings are at the bottom of the South Division with a 1-6 record. • Baseball – C-SD is in seventh place in the North Division, with a 4-6 record. Colonel Richardson looks like the Bayside powerhouse this year, with 11 wins and no losses. North Dorchester is looking for their first win, having a mark of 0-7. • Softball – C-SD made a run into the playoffs last season, and they look pretty good this year, too. The 8-2 Lady Vikes are in second place in the North, behind 7-0 St. Michaels. North Dorchester has a record of 1-6. • Girls’ track and field – The Lady Vikes are shaping up into a force to be reckoned with, having lost to only one Region 1A East opponent, Snow Hill. • Boys’ track and field – Viking boys are currently undefeated in Region 1A East. • Boys’ Tennis – The Vikings are 0-6 in the North. • Girls’ Tennis – The Lady Vikes are 1-6 in the North.
