One of the world’s rarest Ferraris will be on public display for just the second time in four decades.
For classic car lovers, few events rival the spectacle and prestige of the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance—but this year, one showstopper promises to steal the spotlight: an ultra-rare 1967 Ferrari 365 California Spyder, one of just 14 ever built, will make a rare public appearance on June 22 at the 69th annual event held at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame, California.
It’s only the second time in more than 40 years that this Ferrari has been shown publicly, making it a once-in-a-generation opportunity to witness one of the final masterpieces of Ferrari’s America/California GT convertible lineage. The hand-built Pininfarina-designed roadster blends understated elegance with vintage V12 performance, boasting a 320-horsepower Colombo engine fed by triple Weber carburetors and backed by a 5-speed manual gearbox.
“This is one of those unicorn moments for collectors and fans alike,” said Glen Egan, Chairman of the Hillsborough Concours. “The Spyder isn’t just rare—it represents the end of an era, and we’re thrilled to offer the public a chance to see it up close.”
More Than a Car Show, A Celebration of Automotive LegendsThe Concours isn’t just about one car. The event will also celebrate several automotive milestones, including:
Founded in 1956, the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance holds the distinction of being the longest continuously running Concours in the world. It blends the spirit of old-school motoring with world-class automotive design, showcasing vehicles across every genre—from classic-era icons and muscle cars to modern exotics and handcrafted custom builds.
Hosted on the 18th fairway of the Crystal Springs Golf Course, the event’s picturesque setting is only matched by the caliber of vehicles on display. All proceeds from the weekend benefit local nonprofits, including AbilityPath, The Guardsmen, and the Hillsborough Schools Foundation.
Tickets and event details are available at Hillsborough Concours.
If you’re anywhere near Northern California this June, this is more than just a car show; it’s a curated journey through automotive history, and a rare chance to experience one of the most exclusive Ferraris ever made.
