CRISFIELD, Md. - Rachael Seyda Landon moved from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on Jan. 12, 2011, at her home in Baltimore. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Robert R. Seyda and Anna Seyda, both of Germany. She was also the daughter of the late Hilda Lane Seyda who helped raise her after her mother died when she was 3. She leaves behind her husband of 5 years, Roland Landon of Baltimore. Also her siblings Betty Landon of Stomping Grounds, Ky., Esther Hennessee (Chuck) of Morganton, N.C., David Sedya (Eula) of Tierra Verde, Fla., Bob Sedya (Aurora) of New Orleans, La., Joan Cloud (Doug) of Marion, and Debbie Wessels of Pocomoke; and sisters-in-law, Lillian of Baltimore and Patsy of Crisfield. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Danny and a brother-in-law, Jack. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at the Crisfield Church of God at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 which would have been her 78th birthday.
