HURLOCK - Priscilla Jones, 86, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007 at Deer"s Head Center in Salisbury.
She was born July 6, 1921 in East New Market, daughter of the late James and Mary Jane Tubman.
She received her early education at the elementary school in East New Market and later attended the F.D. St. Clair High School in Cambridge.
Her employment years were spent working at the Phillips Packing Company in Cambridge and she later became a homemaker for her family.
Priscilla was married to the late Rev. Frost Jones and this marriage was for 57 years. She attended the Bible Church of God in Hurlock.
She was preceded in death by a son, Corinthian Jones; a daughter; a brother, Clark Tubman; two sisters, Magaline Bryant and Marie Stanley.
Survivors include: a son, Bobby Frost Jones (Barbara), Cordova; a daughter, Shirlene Waller (Baltimore); three grandchildren, Marvin Brown (Gail), Preston, Gwen Jenkins (Marvin) and Marquis Palmer (all of Baltimore); five great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Gertrude Ellis (Seaford), Lucinda Jones (EN Market) and Lena Jones (Vienna); three brothers-in-law, Norman Jones (Minnie), Rhodesdale, -James Jones (EN Market-) and Arthur Jones (Seaford-) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Thompsontown Cemetery (Thompsontown) with a viewing 15 minutes prior to the services.
