HURLOCK - At the April 22 meeting of the Hurlock Town Council, Police Chief Les Hutton reported incidents from April 9-22 included: One assault on Charles Street; one theft on north Main Street; one theft on south Main Street; three canine scans; three warrant services; a juvenile closed with witness retaliation; a runaway closed with an arrest; two possessions of marijuana charged under 10 grams closed with civil citations; and one intoxicated.
Volunteer Fire Company Chief Jason Trego said fund raising is continuing with several events in May, including: Family Dance, fireworks, Paint Night, a softball tournament, and the monthly Family Bingo. Check the HVFC Facebook page or the town newsletter for information and dates.
