No gatherings of 10 or more
• Capt. Justin Todd of the Cambridge Police Department released the following statement on Friday afternoon:
Due to the State of Emergency and the executive order issued by Governor Hogan, there are to be no gatherings of 10 or more people. The Cambridge Police Department (CPD) has received calls and have responded to large crowds.
The CPD is urging people to abide by this order and for parents to educate their children on social distancing.
“Our officers are prepared to enforce the order handed down by the governor for any social gathering of 10 or more people by either citation or arrest,” Capt. Todd said in the statement. “We as a community need to work together by each of us doing our part to make sure we are all taking every precautionary measure possible to protect ourselves and each other.”

Linkwood fire
• On March 19, the Office of the Maryland Fire Marshal responded at 6:16 a.m. to 4306 Drawbridge Road, Cambridge for a structure fire in a two-story, wood-framed, single-family dwelling owned by Leah Bush. Estimated loss to the structure was $12,000.
There were no injuries, deaths or arrests. No sprinkler system was present.
The Linkwood Volunteer Fire Company sent 10 firefighters to the scene, who took 15 minutes to control the fire.
The fire’s preliminary cause was incendiary, the fire marshal reported. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Lower Eastern Region Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780
Vehicle fire
On March 19 at 5:06 a.m., the Office of the Maryland Fire Marshal responded to 5213 Cordtown Road, Cambridge for a vehicle fire involving a Dodge Ram pick up and jon boat owned by Brent Bailey.
There were no injuries, deaths or arrests. Estimated loss to the structure was $3,000, to contents $500.
Cambridge Rescue Fire Company responded with 10 firefighters, who controlled the incident in five minutes.

Embezzlement
Warrant Arrest: On March 3, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Charity Lynn Burr, 44 of Easton. On Jan. 29, an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court charging Ms. Burr with violation of probation on an original charge of theft and embezzlement. She was transported to Talbot County Detention Center and held on no bond pending further action by the courts.

Harassment
Warrant Arrest: On March 6, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Logan Robinson, 41 of Alexandria, Va. The Talbot County District Court issued an arrest warrant charging Robinson with harassment a course of conduct, and electronic mail harassment.
Mr. Robinson was served at the Talbot County Detention Center where he was beginning a 45-day sentence for a separate incident. Robinson was seen by the District Court Commissioner who released Robinson on $5,000 unsecured bond after he serves his current 45-day sentence for the other offense.

Failure to appear
Warrant Arrest: On March 10, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Harold Sylvester Johnson Jr, 39 of Hurlock. On Feb. 27, an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County Circuit Court charging Johnson with failing to appear for his scheduled court date. Deputies also served a Caroline County District Court Warrant that was issued for Mr. Johnson for failing to appear in their county. He was transported to Talbot County Detention Center where he was ordered held without bond pending further action by the courts.

Violation of probation
Warrant Arrest: On March 11, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Madison Bailey Oliver Lyons, 22 of Trappe. On March 5 an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court charging Mr. Lyons with violating the term of his probation. He was transported to Talbot County Detention Center and his bond was to be set by the commissioner.

DUI
Warrant Arrest: On March 11, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jad Isa Fattaleh, 55 of Cambridge. On Jan. 23, the Wicomico County District Court issued a bench warrant for Mr. Fattaleh’s arrest for violation of probation. On March 18 Fattaleh was found guilty for driving while under the influence of alcohol and sentenced to 24 months of supervised probation.
On Jan. 7, Mr. Fattaleh was arrested and charged in Delaware for driving while impaired by alcohol, subsequently violating his conditions of probation. He was released to the Talbot County Central Booking for his initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. His release status in this case was unknown at the time of the sheriff’s press release.

Violation of probation
Warrant Arrest: On March 12, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Travis Greene, 35 of Trappe. The Talbot County District Court issued an arrest warrant charging Mr. Greene with violation of probation. He was being held in the Talbot County on separate charges and continues to be held.

DUI
Warrant Arrest: On March 12, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alexandra Jean Heatly, 51 of Easton. The Talbot County District Court issued an arrest warrant charging Heatly with violation of probation on a driving under the influence conviction. Ms. Heatly was served at the Talbot County Detention Center where she was serving time on a separate incident and continues to be held.
Failure to appear
Warrant Arrest: On March 19, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Alvin Hitchens III, 33 of Cambridge. On March 6, an arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County Circuit Court charging Mr. Hitchens with failure to appear at a scheduled court hearing related to a driving on a suspended license. He was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and was ordered held pending further action by the courts.

Assault
Warrant Arrest: On March 19, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested Hyman Dennis Henry, 55 of Easton. An arrest warrant was issued on March 16 by the District Court for Wicomico County charging Henry with assault and false imprisonment. Mr. Henry was taken to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and was ordered held pending further action by the court.
