On Oct. 17, deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded to Moose Lodge Road, Cambridge, for a reported domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, it was learned that a 49-year-old man had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and that during the assault he had held a pistol to her head.

Dion Lamar Edmonds was arrested and charged with first degree assault, reckless endangerment, using a firearm during a crime of violence, loaded handgun on person, second degree assault and carrying a handgun. He was ordered held without bond.

Assault

On Oct. 24, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested a 33-year-old Trappe man, after being called to the 3800 block of Seymour Drive for a domestic assault. Deputies made contact with the victim who advised she was assaulted by the man in her vehicle outside of their residence.

Deputies noted injuries consistent with an assault and placed Dontrez Lemont Archer under arrest, charging him with assault. Archer was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. Archer was held without bond, pending a bail review in District Court.

Assault, harassment

On Oct. 25, at approximately 6:55 a.m., deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office responded to the 7800 block of Industrial Park Road, Easton, in reference to an assault in progress. Deputies contacted the victim, who said he was assaulted by a 40-year-old Denton woman, who also attempted to vandalize his vehicle.

Jennifer Nicole Glover was located moments later in the area and was placed under arrest, charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Glover was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. She was released on $7,500 unsecured bond.

Robbery

On Oct. 24, at approximately 2:30 p.m., Cambridge Police Department officers were notified by the Washington County Sheriff’s office that a deputy had encountered a man and found that he had an active warrant through Cambridge Police. Officers from the Cambridge Police Department went to Washington County and took custody of Willie James Curry Jr., whom they then transported to the Cambridge Police Department.

A District Court bench warrant was served on Curry for failure to appear in court on Sept. 28. The original charges were for robbery, assault first degree, assault second degree, reckless endangerment, dangerous weapon intent to injure and theft less than $100. Curry had his initial appearance before a court commissioner and was turned over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on no bond.

Multiple warrants served

On Oct. 24, at approximately 11 a.m., Cambridge Police Department officers served multiple warrants on Jonas Ethan Raickle at Cambridge Police Headquarters. Raickle was arrested and the following warrants were served:

District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court on July 26, 2021 - Original charges were CDS: Possession not Cannabis and CDS: Possession Paraphernalia

District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court on Aug. 16, 2021 - Original charges were driving on suspended license and related traffic charges.

District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court on Aug. 18, 2021 - Original charges were driving on suspended license and related traffic charges.

District Court Bench Warrant for Failing to Appear in Court on Sept. 9, 2021 - Original charges were driving on suspended license and related traffic charges.

Raickle had his initial appearance before a Court Commissioner and was turned over to the Dorchester County Department of Corrections on No Bond.
