Pearl Cunningham

PARSONSBURG - Pearl Arvie Cunningham, 85, of Parsonsburg, died at home on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. Born in Wilbar, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Myrtle Griffin and Ira Murphy Pilkenton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Raymond "Jack" Cunningham, in 2008. She is survived by two sons, Ronald T. Mumford and Dennis W. Mumford; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters, Christina Wyatt and Rose Miller, both of North Carolina; and several stepchildren. She attended Line Church in Delmar and was a previous member of White Oak Baptist Church in North Carolina. A funeral service was held at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016. Burial was at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
