WESTOVER - Paul Elliott Outten went to be with the Lord Thursday, Jul. 6, 2017, at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.
Born in Pocomoke on Jul. 19, 1938, he was a son of the late Maurice and Sadie Elliott Outten.
Mr. Outten was the owner of Outten Paving and a member of Living Hope Ministries. He enjoyed woodworking and RV traveling.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years, Millie Outten; three children, Clay Outten and wife Kay of Venton, Paula Jarman and husband Al of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jolynn Pruitt and husband Philip "Nanner" of Westover; four grandchildren, Jennifer Outten, Alan Ray Jarman, Stephen Jarman, and William Jarman and wife Cady; two great grandchildren, Asher and Corinne Jarman; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Carl, and Bobby Outten.
Funeral services were Sunday, Jul. 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Living Hope Ministries in Marion where a viewing was one hour prior. Pastors LeBron Palmer, Matthew Sterling, and Ryan Sterling officiated. Interment followed in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
