SALISBURY - Otis "Lee" Davis Jr. died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Otis Lee and Grace Leonard Davis. He graduated from Wicomico High School, Class of 1949. Upon his graduation, he entered the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as an Electronic Tech for NASA Wallops Island; he retired in 1990. He was a former member of the Exchange Club, the Elks Lodge No. 817 in Salisbury and a past president of the local bowling association. He is survived by his wife of 65 year, Phyllis Davis of Salisbury; two sons, William Davis of Snow Hill and Michael Davis of Florida; a daughter, Debra Davis of Salisbury; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Perdue of Salisbury; a brother, Bill Davis of Salisbury; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Johnson. A celebration of life on his 86th birthday will be held today, Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at 7 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation with the family will be held 30 minutes prior to the service.
