SALISBURY - Nona Jeannine Cimino Cooper died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, with her daughters by her side. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Beulah Malone Cimino. She was a 1960 graduate of Wicomico Senior High. She also attended Salisbury State, majoring in history. She held various positions in the admittingdepartment at Peninsula Regional Medical Center until her retirement in 2012. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Salisbury Metro Lions Club. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. James P. Cooper. She is survived by five daughters, Annmarie Adkins, Barbara Brittingham, Angela Drehmer, Marti Ruark and Kathy Tilghman; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Cimino and Gene Cimino; a sister, Marybeth Runge; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
