BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED

Flood Warning

National Weather Service New York NY

957 AM EDT Sun Sep 13 2026

...The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Flood Warning

for the following rivers in New Jersey...

Saddle River near Lodi affecting Bergen County.

For the Saddle River...including Lodi...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars

through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law

enforcement and request they pass this information to the National

Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued this afternoon at 400 PM EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Saddle River near Lodi.

* WHEN...From this morning to this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 5.5 feet, Saddle River begins to overflow into the

back parking lot of the Boys and Girls club.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

- At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 5.2 feet.

- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this

afternoon to a crest of 5.7 feet this afternoon. It will then

fall below flood stage this afternoon.

- Flood stage is 5.5 feet.

- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 6.1

feet on 01/27/1996.
