HEBRON -- Nellie Mae Parrott Hughes, 85, of Hebron, died at her home on Saturday, May 9, 2015, with her family at her bedside. She was born on June 13, 1929, to the late Harry C. Parrott, Sr. and the late Lottie Rhea Parrott. She was married to Marion B. Hughes, Sr. for 57 years who preceded her in death in 2005. She was a graduate of Easton High School and employed by Airpax in Cambridge until her retirement. She is survived by three children, Marion Bennett Hughes Jr., Nancy Hughes Parsons and Kenneth Lee Hughes Sr.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Marion B. Hughes Jr; a grandson; a great-grandson; two brothers, Harry C. Parrott Jr. and James William Spedden; and a sister, Lucille Garrett. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment followed at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
