HURLOCK — The North Dorchester High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 47 new members on Oct. 1. This is a record number of new members, bringing the total Honor Society membership at the school to 57.

Faculty advisor Rachael Roberts said, “The new members are to be congratulated on their fortitude as achieving this honor does not come without hard work; nor does it come without great support from their families.”

Membership in the National Honor Society is limited to Juniors and Seniors who carry a weighted grade point average of 3.70.
