CAMBRIDGE - Athletes from North Dorchester and Cambridge-South Dorchester high schools met Feb. 7 to compete in unified strength and conditioning. Included in the meet were weightlifting, stationary bike and standing long jump.
In unified sports, an athlete with a disability is paired with a non-disabled student. The pair goes through the season’s training and meets together, giving disabled youth the chance to enjoy sports and competition.
