Monomoy Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on private equity and credit investing in the middle market, announced today the closing of its inaugural Monomoy Family Fund. The fund drew substantial investor demand against its $500 million external hard cap. The final close came three months after launch, bringing total commitments to $589 million, including $89 million from the GP and its affiliates.

Raised with commitments from Monomoy’s existing blue-chip investor base, Family Fund includes investments from endowments, foundations, pension plans, insurance companies and family offices. Family Fund targets lower-middle-market opportunities across family-owned businesses, corporate carve-outs and take-private transactions in the industries Monomoy has specialized in throughout its 21-year history — industrial, consumer and services.
