HEBRON - Meredythe Ann Carr died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Fayetteville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Meredith B. Neal and C. Viola Davis Neal. She was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church and active in Christian Women's Club. She worked for the Wicomico County Board of Education for almost 15 years as a substitute teacher. She loved to volunteer at the Wicomico County Humane Society, Salisbury Zoo and Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She is survived by three children, Kristin M. Adam of Laurel, Md., Melissa M. Truitt of Laurel, Del., Michael L. Carr of Hebron; and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lewis Earl Carr, in 2005. A funeral service was held Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at the Providence Presbyterian Church. Interment was at the Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery in Walters, Va. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
