DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Mary Frances Wingate (nee Adkins), 90, passed away Saturday, Dec.1, 2007.

She was born in Vienna on Feb. 25, 1917, daughter of the late Samuel Hooper Adkins and Mary Frances Adkins (nee Langford).

She was the wife of Irving Moore Wingate who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wingate spent most of her life in Cambridge and moved to Deerfield Beacfh in 2000.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Irene Yates and her husband, Donald of The Villages, Fla. and Kay Wingate James of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Pauline Bradford of Cambridge and Luella Dail of Hudson; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Burial will be at the East New Market Cemetery at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lake & Sumter, 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 or Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Race St., Cambridge, MD 21613.

All Faiths Cremation Society in The Villages, Fla. are handling the arrangements.
