Martha M. Butler

CAMBRIDGE - Martha Moore Butler, 71, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, in the Dorchester General Hospital.

Born in Milton, Del., Mrs. Butler was the daughter of the late Clarence Moore and Margaret Bailey Moore.

Mrs. Butler had been a telephone operator, starting with C&P and finally retiring from Bell Atlantic after 38 years. She had been living in Cambridge for the past 11 years, coming from Easton and Denton.

Mrs. Butler is survived by two daughters, Cornelia Butler Dickerson of Cambridge and Constance Jane Hulliger of Denton; one son, Gregory K. Butler Sr. of Denton; four brothers, Clarence Moore of San Antonio, Texas, Clayton Moore of Milford, Del., George Moore of Seaford, Del., and Isadore Moore of Milford; two sisters, Jeannette Gray of Milford and Leora Walker of Magnolia, Del., and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., in Denton where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. preceding the service. Burial will follow in the Denton Cemetery.
