SALISBURY - Martha B. DeLong, 79, of Salisbury, died Friday, July 1, 2016, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, surrounded by her family. Born in Beaver, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Hiram and Martha Balser. She attended the Laughing Ladies in Hebron, making jewelry, and doing crafts and puzzles. She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Sholley of Lincoln, Del., and Darlene Sholley of Hebron; stepsons, Gregory DeLong of Texas, and Michael DeLong of Florida; a stepdaughter, Denise DeLong of Florida; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald "Mickey" DeLong; a son, Howard James Hartsuff; and a sister, Eleanor Winner. A funeral service was held Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A graveside service followed at Henlopen Memorial Park in Milton.
