CAMBRIDGE — Doris and Rudell Molock toasted 65 years of marriage Monday at Delmarva Community Services’ (DCS) Senior Center before a full house of family, Senior Center attendees and staff.
Michael Cornish entertained the crowd, singing “Endless Love.” At the reception, there was a small cake for the bride and groom, and cupcakes for the guests.
When asked their tip for a long, successful marriage, both said, “One day at a time.” The bride said the best thing about her spouse was, “He always took care of the family.” The groom said she was the best and he would never be able to find better.
The happy couple are regular attendees of the center, which prides itself on providing socialization for Dorchester seniors. Data shows seniors who are still actively engaged with others are healthier and live longer as evidenced by the happy couple Monday.
DCS is at 2450 Cambridge Beltway. For information, visit www.dcsdct.org or call 410-221-1900.
