SALISBURY - Marion Marie Vance, 81, of Salisbury and formerly of Norristown, Pa., died Sunday, July 24, 2016, surrounded by her family at her daughter's home. Born in Wyoming, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Jennie Sandroski. A graduate of Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, she was May Queen in 1954. She was a seamstress and made some of her children's clothing and enjoyed arts and crafts. She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, Glendon Elton Vance; three children, Carol R. Dittmar, Donna L. Kaylor and Jeffrey G. Vance; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; a sister, Irene Puchalsky; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Stanley Sandroski and Henry Sandroski; and sister, Stef Wozniek. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, July 28, 2016, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Exeter, Pa. Interment was in St. Johns Cemetery in Exeter. Arrangements are in the care Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
