Marian T. Bowling

PITTSVILLE - Marian Thomas Bowling died on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Golden Gardens Assisted Living in Parsonsburg. Born in Wake Forest, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Preston Carl Bowling, Sr. and Bessie Harriet Young Bowling.
She worked as a filing clerk for many years, beginning with Larry Jacobs Law Firm in Washington D.C., the state District Court in Salisbury, the Salisbury Police Department and finally the Maryland State Police.
She is survived by an adopted brother, Bruce Edward Furbush Sr. of Pittsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Preston Carl Bowling Jr. in 2012.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at Pittsville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
