VIENNA - Margaret (Peggy) Adell Dyer, born March 1, 1940, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Forest and Margaret (Billingsley) Cheshier, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 26, 2016. She is survived by four children, son, Ronald Dyer (Stacey); and three daughters, Valarie Dyer Brinsfield (John), Michele Dyer (Eddie Gillham), and Cynthia Dyer Gillham (Billy). She also has one sister, Lois Buckley, of Belin, New Mexico; 10 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Peggy lived most of her life in Wyoming where she graduated Hulett High school, attended the University of Wyoming, and married Rudalph Dyer of 42 years. She became an advocate for battered women, was a active member of Sundance First Baptist Church and instrumental in starting the churchs food pantry. Her hobbies included genealogy, painting, and history. After moving to Maryland she was an active member of Hurlock First Baptist Church. A life celebration memorial service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016, at the First Baptist Church of Hurlock in Hurlock, Md., followed by a fellowship meal. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hurlock First Baptist, c/o Food Pantry, 301 Poplar St., Hurlock, MD 21643.
