Ludelia was the daughter of the late Arthur and Madora Thomas, born in Easton, Md., on Jan. 29, 1924. Ludelia was married to the late Russell Copper and from that union one son was born, Donald Russell Copper, Sr. She was educated in Talbot County School Systems. Ludelia was employed as a domestic worker until her health began to fail and was loved by all of her employers. She was a member of Easton Apostolic Church in Easton, Md., under the leadership of Elder Frank Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Donald R. Copper, Sr, Hurlock, Md; four grandchildren, Donald Copper, Jr (Portia) Virginia Beach, Va., Roger Cornish, St Michaels, Md., Frederick Johnson, Jr, Baltimore, Md., and Kimberly Hughes, Hurlock, Md.; seven great- grandchildren; three brothers, Harvey Thomas (Barbara), Carmichael, Md., Lewis Thomas, Coppersville, Md., and Elwood Thomas, Pa.; two sisters, Mary Thomas, Easton, Md., and Agnes Hubbard, Ridgely, Md.; and a host of other family members.
