Dr. Meredith Todd of Cambridge and longtime mentor Dr. Thomas G. Duncan Jr.

CAMBRIDGE — Dr. Meredith Todd of Cambridge finalized the purchase of Harbor Dental Center from longtime mentor Dr. Thomas G. Duncan Jr., on Aug. 13.

“I am elated that Meredith will be taking over the practice. She is a skilled dentist whom I have watched grow and excel for many years. There is no one better suited to continue Harbor Dental’s legacy,” Dr. Duncan said.

Dr. Meredith Todd grew up in Cambridge, and studied at University of Maryland College Park where she majored in biology and genetics. She completed her DDS at University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2011.

Following dental school, Dr. Todd received more advanced training through a general practice residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pa. and has been working at practices throughout the Eastern Shore for the past 2 years.

Dr. Todd always knew her ultimate objective was to own a practice in her hometown. So, when Dr. Duncan approached her about selling Harbor Dental Center, she knew the timing was right to fulfill this dream.

“The goal has always been to come back to Cambridge and this opportunity was the best possible scenario and the best possible timing. I am very excited to carry on the compassionate care of Dr. Duncan and the Harbor Dental Center team.”
