Get ready, get set, READ! Summer Reading has arrived!! This year’s theme is Sports, Exercise, and Health. Help prevent the dreaded “Summer Slide” once school’s out, by coming to the library for books, games, and more! Sign-up any time for our Summer Reading Program.

The program is open to ALL AGES: infants through adults! Infants through adults receive a free book with sign up, as well as the chance to complete simple, theme-related tasks to earn prizes or chances to win raffle prizes.

Adults will also receive a free book for completed bingo boards and will earn a chance to win a tote bag filled with goodies at the end of summer. Teens can complete raffle chances to win a desired gift card, from one of the following: Walmart, Amazon.com, Rue 21, or GameStop.

Infants through children (about age 11 or 12) can complete simple, themed tasks to earn 3 prizes: a sporty rubber duckie, an inflatable sports ball or black sports lanyard, and culminating in a blue Sneaks the Cat Summer Reading t-shirt.

Kids can also select a small prize from our treasure chest when they bring in their weekly reading logs (at both branches).
