SALISBURY - Lewis Nathaniel Harmon, 71, of Salisbury, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late James V. Harmon and Thelma H. Goslee Harmon. He attended First Baptist Church of Salisbury and sang with the former Wings Over Galilee of Weeping Mary Baptist Church. He was employed by the Campbell Soup Co. as a laborer. Later, he worked as a custodian at the Wicomico County Board of Education and First Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, the Rev. Dr. Lewis N. Watson; two daughters, Keshia A. Smith and Juanita C. Harmon-Byrd; two sisters, Gloria J. Hughes and Elder Carolyn J. Douglas; an adopted brother, Roscoe Handy; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony L. Watson; and a sister, Martha Goslee. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Salisbury. The Rev. Quientrell L. Burrell, Jr. will be the Officiant and Bishop Walter S. Thomas, Sr. will be the Eulogist. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of the Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home in Salisbury.
