SALISBURY - Leah M. Fields, 89, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Deer"s Head Hospital in Salisbury.

Born in Toddville, she was the daughter of the late Wilby and Alverta (Ruark) Todd.

She was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working in her home.

She is survived by two sons: Wayne Fields and his wife, Sharon of Salisbury, Gary Fields and his wife, Jean of Delmar; granddaughters, Lori Garvey, Jodi Green, Teresa Simmons, Melissa Kennedy, Melody White and one nephew and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Orville Fields who passed away in 1991; a sister, Hilda Meredith and a brother, Ruark Todd.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury where friends may call Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Dale L. Vroman will officiate. Burial will be on Thursday at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.

Contributions may be made in her memory to Bethesda United Methodist Church, 406 N. Division St., Salisbury, MD 21801.
