SALISBURY - After a long courageous battle with cancer, Kimberly Dianne Scott, of Salisbury, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She was 41. Born in Dover, Del., she was a daughter of Darlene Leager and the late Paul Leager Jr. Kimberly was a hard worker and was a restaurant manager her entire working life. In later years, both she and her husband owned their own restaurant. She is best described as having a "heart of gold" possessing a strong, tenacious, work ethic. In addition to her mother, Darlene, she is also survived by her husband, Pat; one sister, Tina Bryant, and two brothers, Timothy and Michael Leager; two nieces, Jordian and Myranda Bryant; two nephews, Adam and Brandon Scott; brothers-in-law, Michael Scott and his wife Vicky and Bryan Scott. She is also survived by her two beloved pets, Chase and Scooby Doo; as well as her many dear friends and colleagues. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury, where friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will follow on Thursday in Shad Point Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Women Supporting Women, 106 W. Circle Ave., Suite 101, Salisbury, MD 21801 or the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 200 E.
