FINDLAY, Ohio - Kevin J. Zahler, 57, of Findlay, passed away at 8:05 a.m., Jan. 16, 2012, at Birchaven Care Center in Findlay. He was born Jan. 5, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Alfred and Constance (Rifici) Zahler. He married Diane (Ernest) Swing on June 12, 1982, and they later divorced. He is survived by one son, Shawn Zahler of Findlay; two daughters, Arin Zahler and Christina (Dustin) Stuhler, both of Findlay; three brothers, Wally (Andrea) Zahler of North Carolina, Dennis (Barbara) Zahler of Kentucky, and Alfred Zahler of North Carolina; one sister, Jan McCoy of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Kaidynce Stuhler, Brodie Stuhler, Skyler Zahler, Tesla Moneer, Andrew Zahler, Samantha Zahler and Brooklynn Zahler; and one great-granddaughter, Lillian Brown. Kevin was also preceded in death by a son, Alex Zahler. Kevin was employed in the maintenance department at Sherwin Williams in Deshler. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed spending time outdoors and camping. Kevin especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services were 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, where visitation was from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012. Rev. Chris Cravens officiated. Burial was in Knollcrest Cemetery. Online condolences may be made via www.coldrencrates.com.
