SECRETARY - Katherine Emma Moore, 84, formerly of Preston, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge. She was 84 years old.
She was born Aug. 30, 1923, in Preston, the daughter of the late William and Annie Worm Lewin.
She worked for Provident State Bank and retired in bookkeeping after 18 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, reading and taking walks.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Graleski and her husband, C.J. of Secretary, with whom she made her home; a son, Edward Timothy Moore of Salisbury; three grandchildren, Herbert Calahan Jr., Barbara Ebeling, and Craig Graleski; four great-grandchildren, Herbert Calahan III, Cody Calahan, Abigail Calahan, and Brendan Ebeling; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Thomas Ebeling Jr. and Sara Ebeling; one great-great-grandson, Herbert Calahan IV; two sisters, Dorothy Rapp of Ronkonkama, N.Y., and Lillian Urban of Aquebogue, N.Y., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Talbot Moore who died on Dec. 16, 1964, a great-grandson, Grayson Covey, and two brothers, Edwin Lewin and A. Leroy Lewin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

CAMBRIDGE - Ada M. Burton, 85, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007, at Dorchester General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at Thomas Funeral Home, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.
