MARDELA SPRINGS - June Marie Parsons died Friday, Jan. 22, 2021, at her granddaughter's home. Born in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of the late James Clyde Raynes and Sadie Marie Miller Raynes.
She and her late husband were lifelong poultry farmers.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Marie Parsons of Brownsville, Ky., Brenda Kaye Allen of Mardela Springs and Debra Ann Hurley of Hebron; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Louis Parsons; a sister, Lois Furr; and a brother, James Ray Raynes.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
