Julia Lauren Jaquette

DAGSBORO, Del. - Julia Lauren Jaquette passed away on March 8, 2018 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore of Astro Cytoma, Glioma (brain cancer). She was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth (Betz) Jaquette Ward and Steven Ward and the late Jerry D. Jaquette.
Julie's illness was very sudden and spread rapidly. She was a registered organ donor and very interested in research and new techniques.
Julie was a 2009 graduate of Indian River High School and a 2013 graduate of Washington College with a degree in International Relations. She particularly loved her semester in Copenhagen. After graduation, Julie joined the Green Street Housing Team in Salisbury in 2014 after working on AT&T's new site acquisition and development team in Philadelphia. She loved working with Green Street and was very proud of their work.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, her grandmother, Ann T. Moore of Cambridge, Uncle James B. Moore and wife Yvonne of Virginia Beach, Va., Uncle Bradley T. Moore and wife, Cynthia of Worton, Md., Uncle William E. Moore and wife, Mary of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; plus many cousins. She also leaves a very special friend, Steuart Weisman and his mother, Cindy; her dog, Zoey and many dear friends.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her baby brother, Jacob.
A Celebration of Julia's life will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday April 2, 2018 at Our Harvest Restaurant, 1106 Coastal Hwy. in Fenwick Island. The family asks that you dress casually.
