SALISBURY - Joseph Francis Filgueras Jr. passed away on Feb. 10, 2020. Born on March 16, 1953 at West Point, N.Y., he was the son of the late Joseph Filgueras Sr. and Dorene (Filgueras) Johnson.
Joe retired in 2016 from the Stockley Center in Georgetown, Del. after an illustrious career of 25 years. He enjoyed spending time on his boat and motorcycle. Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved jamming with the grandchildren on any instrument he picked up.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Paula Filgueras; daughter, Erika Kramer and her husband Greg; grandsons, Jack and Max Kramer; brothers, Chuck Filgueras and his wife Ana, Donald Johnson and his wife Dawn; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Allen Memorial Baptist Church, 1303 Snow Hill Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804. Visitation was one hour prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church.
