John Roy Simpson Jr.

SALISBURY - John Roy Simpson Jr. died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 in Snow Hill. Born in Gaffney, S.C., he was the son of Debra Ann Martin Simpson of Salisbury and the late John Roy Simpson, Sr., and the grandson of Anna Frances Simpson of Onley, Va.
"JJ" had worked for Cain Masonry for over 12 years and was currently free-lancing. He enjoyed taking karate with his children, watching football and working.
"JJ" is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Belinda Darlene Taylor; three children, Brianna Marie Simpson, Lance Wesley Simpson, and Savannah Elizabeth Simpson; a sister, Tonya Marie Simpson of Berlin; a brother, James William Simpson of Ocean City; and two nieces, Krystal and Kaitlyn Hitchens.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Salisbury Baptist Temple in Salisbury with Pastor Carlo Leto officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in his memory be made to Salisbury Baptist Temple, 6413 Hobbs Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
