DELMAR - John B. Robinson, 83, died at home on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. A native of Virginia, he was born to Hugh and Kathryn Robinson and was one of four sons. He served his country in the Korean War as a U.S. Marine, during which time he was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked as a Realtor in the Salisbury area for 39 years and was a member of Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife, Joan Robinson of Delmar; five children, Donna Robinson of Phoenix Ariz., Bobby Robinson of Salisbury, Brad Robinson of Salisbury, Kellie O'Brien of Carrollton, Va., and Steve Robinson of Salisbury; two stepdaughters, Melissa Mast of Salisbury and Heather McGee of Philadelphia; 19 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving is his first wife, Dorothy Robinson, mother of their five children. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Feb. 6, at Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
