Joan Wilson Crouse, 82
Joan Wilson Crouse, the daughter of the late John Webster Wilson and Mary Virginia Bradley Wilson, who were formerly of Dorchester County, MD, passed away in Carneys Point, NJ on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the age of 82.
Born in Salem, NJ, Joan attended Deepwater Grammar School, Pennsville Middle School and was a 1957 graduate of Penns Grove High School. In 1981, she graduated from Salem County VoTech. Upon her graduation from high school, Joan was hired at DuPont-de Nemours in Wilmington, DE. She was married to Tom Crouse and had five children. Joan went on to work at Memorial Hospital of Salem County for 14 years as CCT, EKG Technician and covered in Outpatient registration, TB Clinic registration and the Cancer Treatment Center. In her free time, she enjoyed writing.
Joan is survived by her children, Cathleen Elizabeth, Thomas James, Barbara Louise, Lisa Marie and Steven Matthew; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. There will be a visitation starting at 11 a.m. leading to the funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow the service at Lawnside Cemetery in Pilesgrove, NJ.
